King’s Parade, Cambridge – summer’s evening

8"x11" oil

Last Sunday evening I was painting in the centre of Cambridge. Lots of people around. Young Saudi tourist asking if I’d paint his portrait…. that sort of thing.  Anyway, a good  time had by all. I think I entertained a few people.  I did most of this on the spot. Addded in the bike and made a few adjustments to the figures without it looking like I was going into another level of detail.

  1. Nice movement in this painting. I like it.

  2. I like the freshness. Good on you for painting in public like that. Takes courage.
